Q: What information is needed to order a custom portrait?

Q: What is a JPEG and PNG file?
A: A JPEG file is a compressed image. I recommend using the file for things like profile pictures, and posting to social media.
Your PNG file will have the background removed, and will not have any image compression. This means that this file is more suitable for printing, or turning into other mediums such as stickers.
Because the background is removed on this image it can also be used very easily as a header/footer on your blog or website.
Q: I don’t have images of my loved ones together, or I only have blurry pictures. Will that be an issue?
A: The wonder of Blobs is that you do not need to have an existing image or even a good picture. I believe that pictures are beautiful as they are, and the appeal of a blob is the characterisation and exaggeration of reality. This means that you do not need to have images of your loved ones together, nor do they need to be in a particular pose that you would like.
For example; you can have a blob where a pet who has passed on is next to a pet who is currently in your home, even if you have no existing photos of the two of them together.
You can also add any prop, like devil horns, or princess crowns on your pets to visually bring home their personalities.
Q: What is the best way to give feedback?
A: I want you to really love your portrait, and noone knows what you and your loved ones look like better than you. I am happy to do any and all changes, especially to get a better likeness in the final image. It is important to remember however, that this is a caricatured drawing, so it will never be 100% lifelike. The goal is to capture the feel of your loved ones, and amplify that through art.
Although I am okay with many changes, my only request is that you take your time to know each aspect that you'd like adjusted, and message me with all of those at one time, instead of making me do little micro adjustments and checking with you at every step (it's annoying for both of us, trust me!). Q: Can I use the image for my website?
A: Yes you can! However, I ask that you please credit me where possible.
Q: How do you ship stickers?
A: Sticker orders are fulfilled by me from New Zealand. This means that shipping is extremely expensive, unless packaged in an envelope as a letter. Your envelope will be reinforced to the best of my ability, however I am unable to add tracking. If you have not received your package within 15 working days, please let me know and I will send you a new package.
Q: How is Shipping and Handling calculated?
A: Shipping and Handling is done by a third party, print on demand manufacturer (Printful). Your order will be fulfilled by one of their depots, and shipped out from the closest location. Due to this, I am actually unsure of how much the shipping would cost! I advise you to go through to the checkout stage, and you will know after you have inputted your shipping address.
This is a temporary solution: I am hoping in 2024 I will have the facilities to be able to self manufacture!
